As a National Sales Executive you will maintain and expand established national accounts to increase sales and gross margin dollars, as well as source, develop and secure profitable new business to maximize Adecco’s growth potential. This role requires drive and passion balanced with a strong desire to collaborate with a team. You will work closely with partners across our National Sales Department, including our teams in Business Development, Proposals & Solutions, and Customer Success and Implementation.

What you’ll be doing
  • Meeting with key client decision-makers to maintain overall satisfaction, bringing added-value service to the relationship and providing information on new services

  • Conducting needs analysis investigation, sales calls and networking activities to ensure Adecco increases their client base, maximizing their presence in the current marketplace and creating new market opportunities
  • Developing account plans and strategies to achieve annual personal and company sales/gross margin dollar objectives
  • Maintaining an awareness of market dynamics and competitors’ activities to ensure we are providing competitive, leading edge products and services
  • Participating in senior level sales presentations and working closely with the National Account Coordinator to provide information on pricing, burdens and gross margin dollar objectives as required for RFP and RFI purposes
  • Negotiating designated account contracts; ensuring that all approved contract terms, conditions and revenue goals are met, coordinating with branches where necessary to effectively implement the contract conditions
  • Overseeing the overall operations of established accounts ensuring efficient and effective processes and procedures to properly support and maintain account activity ensuring complete contract compliance
  • Preparing sales forecasts, annual budgets and monitoring expenditures
  • Working closely with the Global Sales and North American Sales departments to ensure sales opportunities are communicated between countries in an efficient and timely manner
About you

We want to set you up for success! To help us do that, here is what we are looking for from you:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in related field or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility
  • A minimum of five (5) years working experience in a sales role, preferably in the service industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with an ability to influence and motivate others
  • Skilled in the art of networking, lead generation and prospect development
  • Exceptional organizational skills, able to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently; disciplined in timely follow up with prospects and clients
  • Proactive and able to solve problems effectively and rapidly using excellent analytical skills
  • Resourceful and self-motivated, utilizing available information to help further marketplace knowledge and drive business success
  • Proven consistently high levels of customer service performance, with an ability to build strong client relationships, close new business and expand the marketplace
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
  • Knowledge of and the ability to utilize Customer Relationship Management Systems and/or related tools
  • Working knowledge of labour and employment laws is an asset
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
