SUMMARY: The Director of Demand Generation is responsible for managing and generating demand through marketing and content advertising, as well as creating diverse opportunities for generating revenue and sales. Leads development, implementation, and prioritization of demand gen programs and strategy including automated nurture, marketing emails, SEO, social media, and website content. This role works closely with the sales and marketing teams to generate valuable leads to the business and track, analyze, and account for the effectiveness of each demand gen campaign.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Manages digital demand generation tools and campaigns.

•Manages a team of Inbound and Outbound sales representatives (SDRs and MDRs)

•Effectively uses marketing automation tools to increase scale of demand gen programs.

•Consults on and leads the production of compelling content, as well as branding and sales assets, for the use of internal and external resources.

•Crafts specific messaging that targets the right buyer personas and ICPs and drives awareness.

•Leads the relationship between marketing and sales to impact and drive company revenue goals and targets.

•Monitors and measures sales funnel activities and conversion rates along the customer journey.

•Manages and drives key business metrics around sales leads including Prospects, MQLs, SALs, SQLs.

•Manages the responsibility of content, campaigns and messaging distribution across all channels and platforms to grow new customers and retain and grow existing customers.

•Presents reports and forecasts to senior leadership to show ROI of lead channels and investments needed to scale.

•Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or the equivalent preferred but not required. Five (5) years of sales or marketing experience, including three (3) years of demand generation experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

•Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.

•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

•Expert in marketing automation, demand generation, lead nurturing and execution.

•Expert in digital lead channels and engagement.

•Experience managing budgets and process.

•Strong familiarity with Pardot.

•Experience using and tracking leads in Salesforce and analyzing data using business analytics tools.

•Proficient with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
